Astrolander, is a video game I developped, using the GameStart3D framework (a preversion of the HARFANG 3D framework). Most of the work was done during the years 2011-2012, inspired by the feedbacks & energy of the amazing TigSource community.
The gameplay is all about controlling a ship versus inertia and gravity, without any frustration about upside-down orientation problem.
The fuel that powers the ship is limited, and the energy of the ship will lower on each collision. Dealing with the fuel consumption and the ship’s life condition, the player must fly through 24 levels, avoid walls & traps, collect some special items and then land properly. Each level introduces new elements, traps and challenges.
The game can be downloaded from the itch.io website.
